Denver Teacher Residency Announces Dates for Information Sessions
This week DTR released the dates for its information sessions to be held between August 2010 through February 2011, leading up to the application deadline of February 14, 2011.
With its recently-selected 2010 Cohort just underway, DTR is preparing to recruit the next group of career changers and recent college graduates to comprise the 2011 Cohort. This year DTR selected a group of 36 Residents for its teacher preparation program, and looks to expand to 50-55 Residents for 2011. DTR will not only grow in size, but also in its certification offerings.
For the 2011 school year, DTR will train and prepare people serve as elementary school teachers and secondary mathematics and science teachers. Click here to view the dates of the upcoming information sessions and to submit an RSVP. The first information session will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2010.
