Join Thomas Jefferson High School's Vocal Music Director, Edwina Hebert, as well as TJHS Vocal All-Stars for an evening of Jazz at Dazzle!! Students have auditioned for, and will sing a jazz solo with a professional jazz combo in the best jazz club in Denver!!
The event is a fundraiser for the school's "Rent Project", which is being done in conjunction with preparation for the spring musical "Rent: School Edition". TJ is one of the only high schools in the nation performing this exciting and newly licensed musical, and is seeking to promote it's message of peace, understanding, and love. Students partaking in "The Rent Project" have served meals at the Denver Rescue Mission, volunteered at Children's Hospital, participated in AidsWalk Colorado, and will be assiting with the HIVCareLink organization. They have also done work within the walls of Thomas Jefferson to help spread this important message to their friends, peers, teachers, family, and community at large.
