The annual Denver Public Schools Young Authors' Conference is scheduled for May 15 at Temple Emanual, 51 Grape Street. The highlight of the event will be the display of books written and illustrated by kindergarten through fifth grade students from 57 DPS schools. These students were selected to represent their schools because of their outstanding writing accomplishements.
The conference will be held in two sessions. The morning event will run from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM and will be attended by students and their families from schools beginning A-J. The afternoon session, scheduled from 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM, will feature students from K-Z schools.
