Comcast has adopted Place Bridge Academy (the new Place) and will be doing a spruce up day May 3rd at the school with about 150-200 of its people. There will be a huge state-wide kick off that day with the Governor at the Auraria Campus. We are working on getting teachers, parents, and community to volunteer at Place too. Comcast will give a check to the DPS Foundation in an amount proportionate to the number of volunteers. So we want a lot of volunteers to help benefit all DPS schools. The day will begin with the volunteers gathered in the auditorium about 8:00 AM. The teachers, staff, and volunteers invite you to join us for the Comcast Cares Day.
