Moore Math Fun Day

Hesabu Sheri Siku is Swahili for "Math Fun Day".
Who: Students from 4 schools (Stedman, Smith, Knight & Moore)
Why: To have fun exploring our mathematical agility as we delve into the continent of Africa.
What: The students will go through 4 stations:
- Mathematical Idol.Students will write songs, poems, raps, or jokes that assist in learning and memorizing mathematical concepts.
- The Triathlon. Students will take part in three mathematical challenges to show what they know!
- The African journey.Students will take a country in Africa and create a display that informs others about that country. They will use graphing, art, and writing to share new knowledge with us.
- A Robotics Demonstration. East High School will bring a robot that is 6 feet tall and demonstrate the mathematics behind programming robots.
We will then have a closing ceremony. It is going to be a blast!
