New Schools
The goal of the New Schools Office of the Denver Public Schools (DPS) is to improve student achievement and graduation rates by developing and implementing high-performing new school options that meet the priority needs of the district and community. DPS will establish new schools through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process to provide Denver's students and families with new academic choices within their communities through the creation of high-performing and research-based Performance and Charter Schools. All new schools approved through this process will be classified as public schools within the DPS system.
