KCAA Hosts First Friday- What is Art?

On Friday February 3rd, the students at KCAA will ask and answer one of the most complex questions in human history- What is Art?
Throughout history art has lent its expression to society's landscape. O this very special evening KCAA students will lead discussions on 25 influential art works throughout history. Please join us to discuss and understand how art has defined our students, our staff and our world.
"This has been one of the most amazing projects I have ever been a part of!" says Principal Peter Castillo. "All of our staff members were asked to submit works of art and their impact in our lives. It was one of the most insightful projects ever done and it is being organized and presented by our students!"
The evening of inspiration and discovery will be coupled with performances by our after school clubs, dance program and an award winning barbecue dinner! Tickets are $2 for entrance, $5 for dinner ($3 for children under 5) which includes entrance to First Friday.
