Request Services

District employees can request a translation, schedule an interpreter, and submit an event or press release online.

Request a Translation

General Guidelines

  • Request projects at least seven (7) business days in advance. Projects with more than 10 pages of content requires a 14 business day advance notice.

  • Priority, special or same day projects require approval. Letters to parents after a school emergency or time sensitive communication with high priority are examples of requests that will be approved for same day turnaround. Keep in mind that we need at least a four (4) hour advance notice for approved same day projects that are less than 3 pages.

Tips
Consider including translation as part of your planning for written projects as this will help you plan in advance for the time it will take to translate. Remember to consider the length of the project when planning for translation. Usually, if the project is 10 pages in length or less, we only need seven (7) business days in advance. More technical or larger projects will require more time.

As always, we do our best to accommodate special circumstances and every request we get is special and important. Our team will give priority to those same day requests that deal with parent communication that is time sensitive, usually due to a school emergency.

Please complete ALL of the fields in order to process your request in a timely manner.
